I was watching reruns of my favorite show on DirecTV Illinois. I absolutely love the show “Mad Men”. I have been watching it since the first season. It is a drama that will really get you wrapped up. The best thing that I think about the show is the feelings of nostalgia that watching the show conjures up. Even if you weren’t born in the sixities, there is just something wonderful about the era. Maybe it is the ultra-feminine clothing or the retro look to everything. It could also be that life seemed simpler then, there were no cell phones buzzing and email blinking off the hook. Everything seemed to move at a slower pace and was less complicated. Then again, it could be that everyone is constantly drinking and smoking at work that makes the show so entertaining. All together, I really like it and can’t wait until the new season starts this summer. I can’t believe that we have had to wait an entire year for this, its going to be just great!
